“Best New Web Browser Innovation of 2009”
FutureThought Technologies of Orem, Utah has released its new web browser extension, the Cache Hacker, in time for consideration as best new web browser innovation of 2009.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) December 13, 2009 --
FutureThought Technologies' freeware Cache Hacker media tool gives average Windows users unprecedented visibility into (and absolute control over) their Internet Explorer, Dolphin3D Web Browser, or other IE-compatible web browser cache.
Using its simple, single-window interface Web users can preview, examine, save, or delete any or all of the temporary (and sometimes not-so-temporary) files that websites are storing on their computers. "This typically includes cached Flash movies, MP3 audio, pictures, documents, cookies, scripts, time trackers, advertisements, active objects, and other files that website publishers save onto a user's computer - usually without the user's permission," according to Ron Frank, lead developer. "Some of these files may unwittingly compromise a user's security or privacy as he surfs about the Web in good faith from day to day. We believe Web users have the right to control their own computers and this powerful (yet friendly) tool gives them that ability."
The Cache Hacker media tool is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. It comes bundled with newest Dolphin3D Web Browser install (also freeware) which can be downloaded from the company's website at http://www.dolphin3d.com/. The Cache Hacker is easiest to launch from the Dolphin3D Tools menu but is a separate program that can be used as a standalone application. More details about the Cache Hacker are available in this recent company article: http://dolphin3d.com/D3D/?p=35
