Best of Both Adventures Reality Show

Rincon, Puerto Rincón, (date to be announced) — World leading adventurers, Dez and Garret Bartelt are pleased to announce they are joining up with Vancorp Media Group’s Executive Producer, Carter Oosterhouse, (and partner Quay Chilcott), for an uplifting reality show based off the adventure that has surrounded their lives “Best of Both Adventures” retreats. Oosterhouse is an actor/producer/editor who is known for several guest appearances and his work on shows such as TLC’s Trading Spaces, DIY’s The Inside Job and HGTV’s Carter Can! The show will air in Rincón, Puerto Rico.

With their industry knowledge and experience, Dez and Garret will bring together a group of amazing and diverse personalities to provide entertainment and adventures to the clients who wish to experience a few days of personal revival to introduce a show that is unlike anything else on television.

Dez Bartelt is one of America’s leading alpinists who spent more than 20 years conquering some of the world’s most challenging mountains and cliffs. She is also an entrepreneur, business operator, founder and CEO of “Best of Both Adventures.” Dez is also known for designing the world’s largest freestanding climbing wall (Excalibur), which was built in cooperation with Steven Spielberg and DreamWorks.

Garret Bartelt is a former World Extreme Skiing Professional, free-skiing enthusiast and avid surfer. Although Garret’s biggest claim to fame is when he attempted to ski down an 800-foot vertical drop in the Chugach Mountains near Valdez, Alaska and instead experienced the longest skiing fall in history (37 seconds). Garret has skied down mountains in the Rocky Mountains, Chamonix/Mont Blanc and the Patagonia Mountains. As mentioned, garret is an avid surfer who has surfed in destinations such as Hawaii, Mexico, Central and South America, Indonesia and the Caribbean.

She pushes to find new ways to bring excitement to our lives. It is a good form of scary when you put her and Andi in the same room because they bring out the best in one another. The women will enjoy wonderful cuisines where they will learn more about one another, opening up when asked why they needed this adventure so they may find ways to improve their lives. Situations will range from painful to hilarious as the women are forced out of their everyday jobs so they may come together in attempts to discover something about themselves and their lives. The women will learn to surf, hike, talk and see the beautiful Puerto Rican scenery that will create amazing entertainment for the show’s viewers.

The next television personality includes writer, editor, actor and fellow retreat coordinator, Andi Wilson. No stranger to the camera, Andi comes from a small town north of Indianapolis, Indiana. Andi’s love for writing goes back as far as she could hold a pen. Andi has published a few of her 600 poems and works as a freelance columnist, editor and journalist for several various companies. Although Andi has climbed the mountains in Colorado and engaged in some extreme outdoor camping, she has spent most of her life surrounding herself with sports such as softball, volleyball, karate, golf and track. When she is not writing, she spends time with her husband and three children. Andi and Dez’s amazingly eerie and sassy similar personalities, kinship and knowledge combine well to make one superhuman woman.
