June 13, 2011 -- Big 3 News, an online news community, on Monday unveiled its re-designed website.
This represents the third, and most extensive, upgrade the freelance site has experienced since it was created in July 2009.
“We are pleased to share these latest updates with our visitors,” said Rusty Ray, Big 3 News Executive Editor, on Monday.
“The site is cleaner, easier to navigate, and re-emphasizes our commitment to content and participation from our readers.”
Among the major enhancements:
• Featured slides that draw attention to announcements, promotions and featured content on the website
• An improved Submit News page that allows visitors to instantly send us news content, tips & story leads with document, audio, video or other file attachments
• A new Photo Gallery page with a submission tool that allows visitors to send pictures right from their computer (or continue to use the option to email directly)
• A robust website Toolbar that shows notifications, offers social sharing tools and a chat application
• An updated Live Broadcast page that gives visitors access to our live shows and the option to subscribe via email
“Big 3 News continues to grow and we sincerely appreciate everyone’s support,” Ray added. “From our rotating broadcaster lineup, to the written, photo & video content we receive, we are constantly looking for ways to provide an interactive experience for everyone.”
