FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) November 4, 2009 -- STRATFORD, NJ – Mundania Press and award-winning author Danielle Ackley-McPhail would like to announce that Tomorrow’s Memories, an urban fantasy based on Irish mythology is a two-time finalist for the 2008 Dream Realm Award, first for Best Fantasy Novel and second for Best Cover art. The novel was published simultaneously in both print and eBook in September 2008 and is well represented by cover art created in a joint effort by artists Lynn W. Perkins and Christina Yoder, who have worked together on numerous fantasy projects in the past.

In existence since 2000, the Dream Realm Awards recognizes excellence in electronic publishing. You can learn more about the award and its history at http://www.dream-realm-awards.net/. Award winners will be announce on August 15th via the award committe's website.

"I am very pleased at the recognition the novel has received," says Danielle Ackley-McPhail. "It is not the first time I've been a part of a project that has finaled, or even won, but it is the first time the honor has gone to a solo project of mine."

This is Ackley-McPhail's second novel. Her first novel, Yesterday’s Dreams, originally published by Vivisphere Publishing, was re-released in a revised and expanded version by Mundania Press in 2006. Both books are a part of the Eternal Cycle series, with a third book, Today's Hopes in the works.

The Eternal Cycle series was written because of the author's interest in her Irish heritage. She found that when she picked up books that were Celtic themed, much of the fantastic elements were not actually based on the legends and myths of the culture.

According to Ackley-McPhail, "I always prefer to use a foundation of existing myth or legend to build my stories on. First, it gives the reader something recognizable to relate to, and also, it perpetuates that wonder of 'is this actually real?' that adds that thrill to fantasy fiction we all experienced the first time we lost ourselves in a fairytale."
