Big Red Blur, The New Social Network For Teens Launches Friday

Big Red Blur was the brainchild of 14 year old 8th grader, Megan Harrison, from Kirkland, Washington, a Seattle suburban community. Ms Harrison, herself an accomplished graphic artist and pet owner who along with several of her friends realized there was limited availability where Seattle area kids could meet online and share similar interests.

Big Red Blur membership is free and after registration, users will be able to communicate, create their own customizable web space, upload photos, videos, and share pet stories and their love of the arts.

Robert Goldberg, Big Red Blur’s Chief Technical Officer told those attending the pre-launch dinner, “People are going to be amazed at the features we have assembled for these kids.” Mr. Goldberg has shared his excitement about the ability for each registered user to send cell phone pictures to the Big Red Blur website, via the users unique upload address.
The site operates with an all volunteer staff and expects to be able to eventually attract more than one million new users within the first year.
