Big River Hosts a “THIS IS BIG” Video Competition

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 11, 2012 -- Big River Broadband is hosting a “THIS IS BIG” Video Competition to the local seven counties of: Cape, Perry, Madison, Bollinger, Washington, St. Francois, and Ste. Genevieve Counties in Southeastern Missouri and their respective communities. In this competition, people will be able to upload a video showing what “This Is Big” means to them. The contest will run from January 15th until March 30th.

In a video no longer than one minute, Big River is asking people to creatively show what “THIS IS BIG” means to them and upload it to their website at www.bigriverbroadband.com/contest to enter to win $2500.00! Each week in March Big River will be narrowing down the competition to the most voted videos, and the video with the most votes by March 30, 2012 will be announced the winner of $2500.00! As Big River continues to build the new 4g/LTE Network for the region, this competition represents part of their educational approach for the consumers. “This network is not about getting e-mail faster but changing people’s lives for the better”, stated Kevin Cantwell, President – Big River Telephone and Broadband. “We are asking creative people to show us what the fastest broadband network in the region will mean to them! Show us what “This Is Big” means to you and have a chance to win $2,500”.

This contest is open to individuals, groups, organizations, and schools. The videos can be humorous, serious, sentimental, etc. Anything that the producer will feel will allow them to get the most votes during the contest and win the $2,500.
