Bihar Polls: Minor Blast By Naxals As Final Phase Begins

A Railway Protection Force constable was injured in a mine explosion triggered by Maoists in Gaya district of Bihar, where the final phase of assembly elections was being held on Saturday amid a poll boycott call by Naxalites.
The incident took place in the morning while security personnel were crossing a hilly dry rivulet on foot near Barachatti police station area in Gaya.
Maoists detonated a pressure-mine inflicting splinter injuries to one constable, Director General of Police Neelmani said.
