BioPoint announces new range of low cost, cooled scientific imaging CCD cameras.

Cambridge – June 7th 2010 BioPoint, the specialist biomolecular sciences company today announced it has entered into a distribution agreement with Tucsen Imaging Corporation, of Fujian. The new range of cameras are designed primarily for scientific imaging. The range of camera include cooled and uncooled devices with resolutions from 1.4 to 8.0 Megapixels. The range also includes a range of scientific grade CMOS sensors with complete cameras starting at less than 100 pounds. The CCD cameras use the Sony range of interline and progressive scan chips and the CMOS range are built on the Micron range of devices. Tucsen Imaging supply over 20,000 cameras a year to industrial partners and the latest range are highly competitively priced.
Under the terms of the agreement the company will offer the scientific and industrial range of cameras together with accessories designed to interface the cameras to microscopes and lens assemblies.
