An Unlikely Duo -- Senior Citizen and Legally Blind Internet Entrepreneurs Announce Strategic Business Alliance BizBuz.tv Partners With Butler New Media To Launch Online New TV Network.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) March 13, 2010 --
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA / BAINBRIDGE, GEORGIA,
Mar. 13, 2010 — Internet entrepreneurs, Robin
Seymour, CEO and Co-Founder of BizBuz.tv
(http://www.bizbuz.tv), and Cornelius Butler, Co-Founder and Head of Web Operations for Butler New Media (http://www.butlernewmedia.com) announced their strategic business partnership to ensure the accessibility and successful launch of a new 24-hour television network.
Robin Seymour and Cornelius Butler both understand the challenges of opening and running their own businesses. In addition to the usual, this unlikely duo also has to deal
with other factors, which often differentiate them from the traditional “suit and tie” businessman. Seymour, is a business visionary who, at age 80, exudes unlimited energy, and Butler is a true technical guru who just happens to be legally blind. Experience Meets Vision Award-winning disc jockey and television personality, Robin Seymour, spent 40 successful years in the entertainment business. Earning “DJ of the Year” accolades from Billboard and Hit Parader, Robin easily transitioned into television, where he hosted his own music-dance show, Teen Town (later known as Swingin’ Time). He was one of the first white DJ’s to bring black R&B doo-wop style artists to the air and introduced most of the then famous Motown artists to the stations’ listeners and viewers. After “retiring” to start his own production company, Robin continues to produce award-winning corporate imaging projects, infomercials, commercials and visual and audio products for a number of successful businesses.
“People want to be heard. Regardless of race, religion, ability or age,” says Robin. “All
you really have to do is ask people what they like, listen to what they say and deliver what they want. It may sound like basic Business 101 type stuff, but it’s the stuff success is made of and it’s the stuff that Cornelius Butler and Butler New Media is made of too.”
Cornelius Butler, chaired the transportation and public awareness subcommittees on the Presidential Task Force for Employment of Adults with Disability Youth Advisory Committee, which made recommendations to the U.S. Secretary of Labor, Elaine Chao, and President Bush, on ways of increasing employment levels of youth with disabilities. He was also one of the first students to participate in the High Tech Program and George High School where he immediately saw the importance and value of their primary goal – to assist young people with disabilities gain employment in the fields of science and technology – and he was the first student in the nation to leave the program and start his own business.“A great business concept, creates it’s own understanding and paints a picture for us all.
You just have to be open to it, create a dialogue, participate in all collaborative
efforts and follow through on the execution,” says Cornelius.
