Properties: Pungent spicy aroma great oil to use in sports rubs due to its warming properties. Used for over 4000 years in the East for medicinal and culinary purposes. Caution can be skin irritant. Use very carefully and in small quantities. Imported from India.

Odor: Fresh, dry woody, warm-spicy, reminiscent. The taste is flat, somewhat dry woody, pungent biting & characteristic odor recalling of whole pepper.

Source: Steam distillation of dried, crushed but not quite ripe fruits of the pipper vine.

Suggestions:Blends well with Rosemary, Lavender and Sweet Marjoram. Dilute with Sweet Almond Oil for direct skin contact.
