Gilbert, AZ – April 20, 2011-Blood Bound Books, publishers of horror anthologies including Night Terrors: An Anthology of Horror, introduce their newest anthology—D.O.A.: Extreme Horror Anthology.

D.O.A. is twenty-eight stories that take horror to the extreme. Authors were asked to craft a story that was one thousand to five thousand words long and told they had no limits as to what they could write about. No taboo was off limits. The anthology features known authors such as: Kenneth Yu, whose story Cherry Clubbing took 3rd Place in Neil Gaiman’s Philippine Graphic/Fiction Awards, J.W. Schnarr, editor of Northern Frights Publishing Company, and Michael Bracken, active member of HWA and former vice-president of the MWA.

Blood Bound Books is an independent publishing company specializing in horror, suspense and dark fantasy. Blood Bound Books publishes mainly anthologies but has started accepting submissions for novels/novellas/novelettes and single author collections. The organization began with editors Marc Ciccarone, Joseph Spagnola, and Theresa Dillon and is continuing to grow with new projects and guest editors. They had their first convention appearance at MYTHOSCON 2011 in Tempe, AZ. Blood Bound Books will continue to publish new anthologies in 2011 including: Rock is Dead: Dark Tales Inspired by Music, Steamy Screams: An Erotic Horror Anthology, and Night Terrors Volume II.
