Blue Archer Designs New Website For Tobacco Free Allegheny

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 15, 2009 -- PITTSBURGH – October 14, 2009 – Web design and marketing company Blue Archer recently launched a new website for Tobacco Free Allegheny, a non-profit organization dedicated to changing the community norms around tobacco.

“Our goal is to reduce the burden of tobacco on the community and the state,” said Cindy Thomas, Executive Director for Tobacco Free Allegheny, “and because Blue Archer has provided us with a more convenient tool for updating our site, we can better focus on helping people quit tobacco use, preventing youth from starting to smoke and helping eliminate non-smokers’ exposure to secondhand smoke.”

The new site features revised navigation, the implementation of an AccuCMS content management system, and an intranet to coordinate events and documents amongst various partner organizations.

“Tobacco Free Allegheny has had a web presence for many years, however, it was a rather unattractive site and not very easy to navigate,” said Thomas. “Blue Archer improved the look and organization of our site in addition to providing us with a more convenient tool for updating it very quickly in house. We already wonder how we managed with the old system.”
