(Free-Press-Release.com) February 20, 2010 -- This water celebration and book launch event will feature many profound water scientists and speakers, and will be accompanied by music; film screenings; water poetry, and activities engaging the island’s community.
The two-day event will also feature a special [green=#ff0000]“Green Fair.”[/green]

Schedule of events
May 1 and 2:
• [green=#ff0000]“Green Fair”[/green] in adjacent gymnasium area from 10 AM to 4 PM
with music and food from 11 AM to 3:30 PM

• National Geographic and water film screenings from 10 AM to 4 PM
• Featured speakers and panels from 11 AM to 3 PM
• 6 PM – 8:30 PM in Performing Arts Center: keynote speakers, film shorts, and music

May 2: 6 PM features award winning R. Carlos Nakai, who has released 35 albums and is recognized as the world's premier Native American flutist. Katie Mayhew beloved 16-year-old singer from Martha's Vineyard who won the grand prize in the first ever 'Boston Pops High School Sing Off: A Broadway Challenge'.
