Bluegreen Offers Christel House Coffee at its Timeshare Resorts with Proceeds Going to Charity

Boca Raton, Fla., - June 11, 2011 – Bluegreen Corporation (NYSE: BXG), a leading provider of Colorful Places to Live and Play, today announced that it will begin offering Christel House coffee at all of its timeshare resorts to help support the Christel House charity. Coffee roaster, Copper Moon, will provide the roasted coffee while the packaging will be designed specifically for Christel House. At the end of each month, Christel House will receive a 10% royalty from Copper Moon based on monthly total gross sales. Copper Moon will also supply condiment packets. These proceeds will help children from around the world to break the cycle of poverty.

“In 2010, Bluegreen recorded over 400,000 departures. Guests averaged a 3.7 night stay in each of our 45 resorts,” says Jeffrey Lee, Director of Resort Operation Standards for Bluegreen Corporation. He continues, “If you figure each person drinks at least one cup of coffee in the morning and we averaged about three guests per stay, that’s a lot of coffee and a lot of money to charity.”

Founded in 1998 by Christel DeHaan, Christel House aims to break the cycle of poverty for children around the world through educational programs, life-skills training, character development and self-esteem. Since 2000, Bluegreen has managed to raise over $450,000 in donations through voluntary payroll deductions, golf tournaments, raffles and various activities at their timeshare resorts across the country.
