Bluegreen Resort, Mountain Run Sets Sights on Michilmackinac Marines Encampment Event

Boyne Mountain in Michigan is the Midwest’s largest ski area, and Bluegreen’s Mountain Run puts owners at the peak of the action. Skiers can take advantage of 14 lifts and more than 50 trails for all skill levels. Snowboarders can slide and jump their way through the terrain park. The three-day event allows attendees to gain an appreciation for military life. Camp re-enactors demonstrate camp cooking and life, provide children’s games, and allow attendees to dress up and practice washing laundry with a washboard and tub. Guests will also see flag raising, firing tests and watch the re-enactors act like 1750s French soldiers. Admission to this special event is free, as it is covered in the standard Colonial Michimackinac admission fee.
