He continues, “We’re really excited about the Convertible Car Show because Guinness World Records will be on hand—so it’s a chance for everyone participating to make history in MB, and we get to support the great Make-A-Wish Foundation.”

The 1st Annual Sun Fun Myrtle Beach Convertible Car Show is an exciting proving ground for ragtop and hardtop owners to enter their convertibles for bragging rights—and great cash prizes. Independent judges and car lovers will award prizes in the following categories: $1,500-1st Place; $1000 2nd Place; $500 3rd Place; $1000—#1 Fan Favorite; $500—#2 Fan Favorite; $250—#3 Fan Favorite. The first 100 registrants will receive a $20 restaurant gift card. Door prizes will be handed out to the next 200 convertible owners who register their convertibles. There is a $30 registration fee and 90% of proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of South Carolina. Space is limited and the deadline to register is June 1, 2011.

This event promises to be the Worlds Largest Convertible Car Show and Guinness World Records will be on hand to document the event and verify the record for most cars to be in a convertible show. There will also be photo opportunities with celebrity cars KITT, the Knight Rider Trans Am; Dragula, The Munsters coffin car; and General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard.
