BNI Main Street Chapter Awarded Founder's Award

East Hanover, New Jersey, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) May 4, 2011 -- The Main Street Chapter, which meets weekly at the Hanover Marriott Hotel in Whippany, is one of the select few to receive a Founder's Award for 2010, recognizing, among other things, the chapter's outstanding member retention record.

Founder's Awards are issued to BNI chapters that represent the top ten percent of the organization in terms of performance. They must have a minimum of twenty members, be nominated by the local BNI Director, and be approved by the Founder. These chapters are specifically recognized for excellent performance relating to referrals, visitors, new members, commitment, enthusiasm, and - most importantly - attitude.

The Main Street Chapter meets for breakfast each Thursday, and is comprised of over two dozen professionals dedicated to the credo "Givers Gain" The chapter is very interactive and fun, but it also maintains high standards of performance and business ethics. The fact that the chapter is being recognized for outstanding retention is evidence that the process is working to increase the business all members get as a result of their participation.
