They take an active role in community service, having earlier this year donated $750 to Elburn Youth Baseball. In addition to this generous donation, given at the start of the baseball season, Bob Jass also provided baseball equipment for a sponsored youth team.

Recently, Chevrolet and Bob Jass made a second additional donation of $500 toward Elburn Youth Baseball, presented to the kids of the league at a Cubs game at Wrigley Field in Chicago. Donations like these made by Bob Jass Chevrolet help to make youth baseball leagues in Elburn possible, as all coaches, umpires, and other youth league staff are 100% parent volunteers. Through donations, Bob Jass has helped the league purchase first-aid kits, ice packs, new bases, etc.

Bob Jass Chevrolet also sponsored a Chevy Youth Baseball raffle over the summer, with possible prizes including a chance to win a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze or Equinox in August when the drawing will be held. All proceeds of the raffle went to the youth league.
