FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) December 27, 2009 -- MIAMI, December 27, 2009 - Book club president of Nubian Sistas Book Club and CEO of Nubian Literary Network, Joy Farrington, is currently seeking stories and interviews from other African American book clubs and literary divas for her new book “A Literary Diva’s Guide to Hosting a Fab Book Club Meeting.”

“A literary diva” says Joy Farrington “is a person who has a huge passion for books and seeks to incorporate the literary world into their daily lives.” Her book, “A Literary Diva’s Guide…” is a book created primarily for African American book clubs and is filled with tips, games, and a book of the month guide to assist book clubs in planning their book club meetings. The book also includes a book club meeting organizer, reading guides and a list of online resources. “I’m currently seeking stories from other book club members regarding some of their experiences in their book club and how they turn their meetings from drab to fab. I want other book clubs to know they are not the only ones not sure how to host a meeting or make their meetings more interesting.” Book club members can submit their stories of no more than 300 words at www.nubianlit.com by clicking on the story submission links. All selected stories will be printed in the book “A Literary Diva’s Guide….” and will be featured throughout on nubianlit.com and promotional materials. Stories should include innovative ways, events, and methods book club members have incorporated into their club.

“The Literary Diva’s Guide…” is the first in a series of books geared toward African American book clubs and will be available in e-book format on January 1st 2010 at www.nubianlit.com and available in stores and for online purchase, beginning February 2, 2010.
