BOOK RELEASE: All The King’s Horses literary collection
Little Episodes launches the third volume of their ‘Expression of Depression’ series
United States/United Kingdom, For Immediate Release — Little Episodes is a non-profit production company that provides a platform for emerging talent and addresses social issues through written, performed and visual arts. Seeking to promote the arts as a therapeutic tool and platform to incite empathy and understanding, Little Episodes Publishing released All the Kings Horses on 7 April 2011.
All The King’s Horses is edited by rock journalist and biographer Nina Antonia, and features work from Sadie Frost, Lucie Barât, Helen R. Peterson and Sarah MacManus.
Lucie Barât, founder of Little Episodes, said: “The glamorized dark side of depression is not the font of creative inspiration of popular belief. You will discover quite the opposite, a dull, flat hell land.”
“We aim to de-stigmatize depression and promote compassion and understanding rather than fear and embarrassment. This is our third anthology and yet again we have unearthed some incredible unpublished writers who are overcoming issues through using the creative arts. This opportunity to create and subsequently publish art will give people a sense of wellbeing which could aid in their recovery.”
Previous volumes of the Expression of Depression anthology series have featured award-winning author Melvin Burgess, poet Todd Swift, and author and performer Clint Catalyst.
All The King’s Horses will be available through LittleEpisodes.org, as well as on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and other reputable retailers in both print and digital.
eGalleys are available immediately for review, and founder Lucie Barât and editor Nina Antonia are available for interviews.
