Recording of financial transactions, is that easy for you? You know it better. There are two common bookkeeping systems used by businesses and other companies are the single-entry bookkeeping system and the double-entry bookkeeping system.

Before we talk about specific systems let me clarify the zest of article, you might not like to continue reading after that “manual system of accounting is better”. I was thinking to rename article title to this “manual system of accounting” but thought to get some comments. I am personally not associated with any company or organization. I run a small web portal here in London, born in India settled in UK, learnt about accounting systems because able to earn a little taxable income out of my portal not disclosing name as it can give unwanted attention.

Let’s move to the topic, if are still reading this that means you have some similar ideas to me about accounting and bookkeeping, there are lots of bookkeeping service providers but not with quality, this is my personal experience in last 8 years. I have hired local agencies, freelancers, companies from India, companies from different nearby cities and they all failed to deliver as per requirements because they do not have enough time to understand my system and solutions.

Now; let’s say you have to prepare balance sheet of entire financial year in 3 working days, that to on a totally different kind of business system (new for you). It is simply not possible. You need more time to understand, and this time is not with you.

Companies have got lots of clients like me and they can not afford to give more time to any one client. And I was forced to learn this accounting system; I started it all manually as I was not good at computers.

After initial few years back in 2008 I was kind of able to do my bookkeeping work my self except authority signature on it by a professional company.

In summer 2009, I visited my native place instead of family holiday rush. And I was in Bangalore for 3 days with old friend of mine from South India. I was not on business trip, it was kind of spiritual learning process for me, there I was introduced with a new gentleman from Pro Accounting company, I though to ignore as I am well aware of such companies but NO, I had a very different positive though about this man and I was thinking to give a change. We exchanged our email contacts and bye, Bye.

In mid 2009, I think in August I wrote an email to Pro-Accountants (a bookkeeping and accounting company, from India, I was talking about them) asking them for a proposal for their services. I got a replay asking few more questions about the business and kink of products we sell online. They took 2 days time to revert back, I thought this is another fuss, but to me surprise, I received a proposal explaining each and every aspects of the bookkeeping my company would eve need.

I was now ready to go ahead, and I did that, I asked them to start working for me, but it was under probation period for me.

I got the job done as and when I wanted, communication was not a problem (form my earlier experience I was thinking people from India are not good at communicating), work was done exactly as it should be. Now I was able to dedicate my bookkeeping time to other marketing activities.
