Knights for Christ Prophetic Urban Youth Ministry, a Queens-based ministry under the stewardship covering of Pastor Matthew Singh, launches a new era in ministry, teaming up with DO SOMETHING to sponsor "Fourth Annual Teens for Jeans Charity Concert and Fashion Show," persuaded to raise 1000 jeans for teens living in local shelters. Knights 4 Christ members range from the tender age of twelve to nineteen years of age. These young people believe they have a moral obligation to serve others, by any means necessary; making life a little more tolerable for urban youth-being the hands and heart of Christ. The only peer pressure these youth identify is the compelling desire to be the utterance of the prophetic voice; giving answer to the many social injustices that plague urban communities-leaving thousands of adolescence in despair and without hope of a future. This year promises to be an extra special event with many exceptional guest artist performances. One such guest artist is “PYRO” a local performer and prolific choreographer, producer, and composer. PYRO is considered a new chapter in music as his creative concepts force onlookers to visualize every line spoken. PYRO writes most of his music giving inspiration to performance and humility to his humanity; knowing that his gifts are to be used for the benefit of the kingdom and glorification of God. PYRO has performed both nationally and internationally leaving audiences around the world wowed by his expressive abilities. Teen for Jeans Charity Concert and Fashion Show is February 11, 2011, at 6:00 PM at New Haven Ministries located at 130-05 101st Avenue, Richmond Hill, NY 11419.Teens For Jeans Concert and Fashion Show is free with a pair of clean or new donated jeans.
