Quentin hails from his home town of Rochester, New York and is about to be graduated this year from the University of Dayton. Quentin has a classical background in violin since second grade, but started playing rock, country, and blues in 2007.

He says, "It's way more fun to play in a laid back setting, and to just do your own thing. You don't have to read a score to play rock and roll, you just kind of feel it and let it happen."

Playing guitar and singing have been a hobby of Quentin's all his life. He learned from his Dad and picked up on it quickly and acquired an appreciation for classic rock at a young age.

As a music education major, he is glad to get off the conductor's podium and have some fun playing with Bottoms Up.

Rick, the lead guitarist, tells us, "It is rare to see a classic rock band with this lineup of instruments all playing at the same time; I mean when have you ever seen a classic rock band playing good dancing music combined with a trumpet and violin?"

We are really excited to have a musician the caliber of Quentin playing with us. I'm sure it is going to be something new and unique in Dayton for people to come out and see and hear.

Quentin will be making his debut performance with Bottoms Up on Friday, March 18th, at Hanks Pub, 2529 Patterson Road, Kettering, Ohio. The show starts at 9 p.m.
