Box Latch™, A New Reusable Packaging Product, to be Demonstrated During Earth Week at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater
Welcome visit Our WebSite:
http://www.BoxLatch.com The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater will host an extended version of Earth Day this year, known as Earth Week 2011. Eco-Latch Systems, LLC of Jefferson, WI has been invited by UW-Whitewater to display its product, the Box Latch™, at this year’s Earth Week event. (Other companies participating at the expo include WE Energies, Crave Brothers, Michael Fields Agricultural Institute, etc.)
The Box Latch™ is a new reusable and patent pending packaging product developed by Jack Wilson, a lifetime Wisconsin resident and inventor. It is made of 100% recycled plastic and allows boxes to be closed without tape. The Box Latch™ easily slides between the top and/or bottom flaps of almost any corrugated box to hold it shut while causing virtually no damage – unlike packing tape. As a result, Box Latch™ users are allowed easy access to stored materials and will have the ability to reuse both their boxes and Box Latches™ dozens of times. UW-Whitewater faculty member, Lois Smith, said this when asked about her experience using the Box Latch™:
“In roughly three decades as a marketing professor and consultant, the Box Latch™ is the most exciting innovation that I have seen. Yes, it’s small, and yes, it’s simple. Those characteristics are its beauty. It fits so well into our common goals for reusing our resources and keeping packaging green.”

Reusing cardboard boxes has numerous benefits, including:
• Decreasing the cost of packing materials (i.e. boxes and tape)
• Lowering labor costs by speeding up the process required to break down and store used boxes
• Remarkably diminishing the volume of used boxes being recycled or going to landfills
• Limiting the amount of petroleum needed to create millions of plastic (corrugate) containers and boxes
Often, eco-friendly products come at a premium price and may not be financially viable. Not so with Box Latch™; it’s designed to do just the opposite: $AVE MONEY. It’s been proven that there is nothing “greener” than reuse. This is the philosophy by which Eco-Latch Systems, LLC conducts business. The company is determined to change the way the world closes and reuses boxes and is interested in working with businesses and individuals who share this same “green” desire.
*Eco-Latch Systems, LLC plans to unveil its newest reusable product, The Eco-Friendly Box™, at the Green Business Expo.
