Boys and Girls Club of Mt. Vernon Hosts Christmas Party For Kids

Manhattan, New York, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) December 19, 2011 -- Smiles will abound on the faces of its young members when the Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon (located at 350 South Sixth Avenue, Mount Vernon, NY 10550) hosts its annual Christmas Party including gifts from Santa for the kids on Tuesday, December 20, from 4:00-6:00 PM. The festivities will include an appearance by the world renowned Santa Claus, who will be joined by executive director Lowes Moore, Mt. Vernon Mayor Clinton I. Young, both products of the club, and NYS Sen. Malcolm A. Smith.

The festivities will include revelers, karate, cheerleaders, basketball and gifts for the kids. The Christmas Party is part of the “Boys & Girls Club’s Road to 100 Years,” which will culminate with the 100th Anniversary Gala hosted by award-winning actor Denzel Washington on Saturday night, March 24, 2012 at the Rye Town Hilton.
