Brachers Advise On Deal Of The Year 2012

Despite tough competition, the sale of Sidcup-based energy consultancy Power Efficiency to Balfour Beatty for £18m in April 2011, stood out. Brachers advised on the deal along with Castle Corporate Finance and Eightoaks. Power Efficiency provides energy consultancy services to blue-chip clients, along with assisting property management firms on their client portfolios. They ensure that clients get best value from their energy suppliers and also assist with environmental compliance.

Phil Cunningham, head of Corporate & Commercial at Brachers, commented: “Brachers had been working with the shareholders and management team of Power Efficiency for a number of years, including advising on an MBO in 2008.
