Breast cancer links and anti-perspirants.
Debates have been raging since 2007 when studies suggested a potential link between aluminium salts contained in anti-perspirants and breast cancer.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) February 14, 2012 --
Manufacturers of leading brand anti-perspirants state there is no breast cancer links with their products, yet some leading breast cancer specialists suggest women avoid using the products altogether.
A study at Keele University found aluminium salts – used to block the pores so you don't perspire – can get into breast tissue. These salts are more concentrated in the areas of the breast where cancer is more likely to develop – on the side and towards the armpit. Women that shave their armpits and then use anti-perspirants are particularly at risk.
Most women know that a diet rich in anti oxidants is powerful in reducing the risk of cancers. However they do not realise that every day they partake in a ritual which involves smothering their armpits with chemicals that mimic oestrogen, the cancer promoting hormone.
Some cancer units advise women not to use deodorants containing aluminium salts before attending for screening, as they can obscure the results of screening tests. This can make breast cancers difficult to detect.
Caroline Coughlan, an independent distributor for Forever Living Products from Essex, recommends Forever Living Ever Shield Deodorant Stick. "As far as I am concerned I am not taking any chances. I ensure all my family use Forever Living Deodorant stick, which is free from aluminium salts, and organically produced."
Caroline is not the only person enjoying the benefits of Forever Living Products. "The deodorant stick is one of my best sellers. My customers also love it as it is so gentle on the skin. One customer has told me it is the only deodorant her husband can use, as he is virtually allergic to every other deodorant on the market. Not only that, but it is fantastic value for money, as it lasts for months."
Forever Living Ever Shield Deodorant Stick has also been recommended by Richard and Judy TV show, and the Rosemary Conley diet and fitness magazine.
