Bret Moses, of Otto Media, Helps Capture Buried Wanderer Story

Corey Robinson, former intern at Otto Media, literally dug up a buried wanderer story, and enlisted Bret Moses as director of photography on his film NEMO 1934: Searching for Everett Reuss.

A documentary about a captivating and restless young man who was bound to a life of roaming, exploring and risk-taking, this film is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2012. Last seen at the age of 20 in November of 1934, he disappeared without a clear trace. All that remains is his works, letters, and block prints.

Before his final disappearance, he spoke of premonitions about his untimely passing. Ever the risk-taker, he opted to continue walking through the desert alone, and even consistently stood dangerously close to the edge of cliffs.

Corey Robinson uncovers the old, mesmerizing story by exploring the past, with hope of finding something new. Otto Media traveled throughout the southern region of the United States with Robinson to create a documentary. More information is available on twitter: @nemo1934film.

Corey Robinson, a graduate student at Syracuse University, is pursuing a master’s degree in documentary film and history. He holds a bachelor’s degree in television, radio and film.
