Ripoff Report has been described as the "National Enquirer antidote to the Better Business Bureau", created as a platform to allow consumers to air their gripes, complaints, and allegations about a business. Unfortunately, Ripoff Report appears to have been created for purely a money making scam that has left numerous businesses and individuals tarnished with an unjustified poor reputation that goes without merit. Bottom line this negative on line report is false in all ways. When the recession started in late 2008 for the first time since 1975 Brian Weinstock, along with most other builders, had a very rough year that included major problems with suppliers, sub contractors, bank credit lines and much more, coupled with personal financial challenges the failing economy caused our staff, sub contractors and company management that most everyone including and especially builders and all related industries experienced and are still experiencing worldwide. In 2008, out of 15 customers Brian Weinstock had a few very impossible customers from Highland Park and Barrington that refused to work with Brian Weinstock through this new economic mess and then demanded allot more than our agreements with them called for. Nothing our team did to try and satisfy these folks did satisfy them and they continued to be impossible and unfairly demanding in all ways. Simply ask our independent subcontractors and suppliers they didn't pay for materials delivered or work done at their house. Many, many times our independent subcontractors were called to their house to do work that was never contracted for or called out in the plans that the customer demanded and expected to be free, our independent trades will be glad to tell you all about these folks. All of our other customers did work with us at the time. When you Google (and only Google, no other search engine indexes them- they know better) you will find a negative write up from two of these totally impossible old customers (who knew each other and worked together on this false report) from projects in 2008 that Brian Weinstock finished with totally false claims and statements made on a convicted felons and extortionist web site Ripoff.com, more information on this below. Since 2008 Brian Weinstock have been determined the economy would not do us in, as it has so many others and we have successfully made major structural changes in the way Brian Weinstock do business in this economy, put in place performance bonds and contractor paid title escrow services where our vendors and subs are paid in small performance based payments, not by us, but by a professional construction coordinator through Chicago Title company, protecting our customers every step of the way with the highest level of protection available to them as well as many other successful improvements.
