Bridgestar Launches Partnership with BoardSource: Providers Join Forces to Offer Top Nonprofit Board Content on Top Nonprofit Job Board

By joining forces, the two organizations will share information to bring nonprofit organizations seeking board members and prospective board members information about serving on, recruiting for, and working with nonprofit boards.

It will now also be hosting a board learning center (http://www.bridgestar.org/learningcenters/boardservice.aspx) featuring content developed by BoardSource. Articles will cover subjects including what board members should ask and know before joining a board, to job descriptions for board members, board structure, why boards are needed, board orientation suggestions, and the fiduciary responsibilities of board members.
