Bridging the Gap from Ordinary to Extraordinary for Chicago Area Men- ‘Chicago area event garners support from Real Men and notable organizations across the country’
The Power Brunch, designed for males of all ages transitioning into manhood, will be held on Saturday, March 19 on the campus of Washburne Culinary Institute.

C’est Si Bon Hospitality Group, Inc. partners with Real Men Charities, Inc and the Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance (MFHA) to present its’ signature male empowerment event ‘A Gentle Man Power Brunch’ to provide men with a network of tools and resources to foster personal and professional development. The Power Brunch, designed for males of all ages transitioning into manhood, will be held on Saturday, March 19 on the campus of Washburne Culinary Institute. Gerald A. Fernandez, Founder and President of the Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance will be a featured guest speaker during this event, the first in a series of quarterly events.
A Gentle Man Power Brunch features discussions on high powered topics including ‘etiquette of a man’, how to ‘dress for success’, and a candid dialogue focusing on issues that may pose challenges to upward mobility and personal success for males. Real Men Charities, Inc., a national nonprofit organization and sponsor of Real Men Cook® Father’s Day event across the country, has partnered with C’est Si Bon as an extension of their mission to build healthy families and communities. The Power Brunch welcomes males of all ages as wells as individuals, civic organizations and community based groups interested in or currently supporting men faced with persistent challenges to success. The Power Brunch consists of a series of forums targeting males of distressed circumstances designed to provide access to opportunities for professional growth, prosperity, and career enhancement. During these sessions, participants will receive tangible tools that will prepare them for the successful pursuit of personal and professional development, including exclusive post event networking sessions, ‘interview coaching’, educational assistance, professional dress attire, career counseling and highly coveted event take-a-ways.
Fernandez believes that, “we need to demonstrate our belief in their possibilities by showing up in their lives especially at events such as this.” Fernandez supports this event “because young men today need to be supported by those of us who have had some level of success in life.” A Gentle Man Power Brunch is an extension of C’est Si Bon Hospitality Group’s commitment to produce events and provide services that are socially relevant and serve as a platform to address the disparities and under-represented needs of urban businesses and communities at large while adding immediate value.
