FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) September 19, 2011 -- One of the nation’s largest high street banks has outlined its plans to help farmers in the UK with financial assistance to embark on renewable energy projects. These are to include the use of solar panel installations which generate solar energy, wind farms, organic waste farms and finally hydro power.

According to the latest figures more than 33% of farmers living and working in the Uk would like to have a renewable energy project either built or installed on their land in the future. It’s generally believed by the farmers that when a solar energy project is installed it will generate an estimated £25,000 per annum.

The bank undertook research whereby 300 of their customers working in the agricultural sector were questioned on their thoughts regarding renewable energy sources. It revealed that 80% of people who took part in the survey believed that renewable energy would help them to save money, and 60% knew that these projects can also generate an extra income.

The latest PV solar panels are extremely efficient and effective when they are installed in properties in the UK. While many people believe that solar panels in the UK would not generate a good supply of electricity due to average sunshine levels, modern solar panels actually use radiated light to create energy, as opposed to direct sunshine.

To enforce this fact, the bank has set aside a fund of £100 million pounds to help people make the switch from fossil energy sources to renewable energy. They have done this with the intrinsic belief that solar energy and other renewable sources are a worthwhile investment, which will quickly grow into a developing market in the near future.

This is despite the recent reduction in the tax free FIT scheme for big, industrial sized projects- they are still viewed as worthwhile projects for the future. This is especially true if the cost of electricity continues to rise over the coming years as it has done in the last 12 months.

It’s predicted that the FIT scheme will be reviewed in 2012, so now is a great time for homeowners to consider having the free solar panels which generate free electricity installed in their property. It’s also advised that in addition to the installation of solar panels people should also start looking into the other types of renewable energy as well.

There are a variety of ways of utilising solar power, which can help to save you money, reduce the amount of carbon emissions emitted into the atmosphere and increase the monetary value of your home. If your property is suitable you can have free solar panels fitted to your home, allowing you to make use of the free electricity they generate- reducing the amount of money you spend on your energy bills.

Alternatively, if you pay for the solar panels yourself you can benefit from the use of free electricity as well as selling the excess electricity your solar panels produce to earn an additional income.
