Broadcasters Hall of Fame seeking radio and television nominees for 2011 Induction

(Free-Press-Release.com) May 11, 2011 -- AKRON, Ohio -- The Broadcasters Hall of Fame is seeking nominees for 2011 induction.

The BHOF annual induction banquet rewards, recognizes and promotes significant contributions to the radio or television industry as a broadcaster, station owner, manager, journalist, producer or other distinguished personnel.

Additionally, the Broadcasters Hall of Fame has expanded its award program to recognize notable contributions in print media. Nominees for induction may include editors, writers, reporters, journalists, etc.

Any individual can nominate a person who has demonstrated notable contributions to the broadcasting industry. Inductees must have 15 or more year’s tenure. Final selection of inductees will be made by the Broadcasters Hall of Fame Board of Trustees.

Nominations will be accepted until Friday, August 19th, 2011 . The BHOF Board of Trustees will critique applicant qualifications and select 10 – 12 persons for induction.
