How can we trust a commissioner who claims that he will keep true to the people when he couldn't even keep a promise to show up to the Apostolic Revival Center 41st annual church anniversary.

Jean Monestime is the commissioner of District 2 in Miami which was previously held by commissioner Dorrin D. Rolle. Jean Monestime, a man who based his whole campaign off of completely stating miss information and half truths about previous commissioner Dorrin D. Rolle, promised to show up to the 41st Church Anniversary of a Man who virtually single handedly with the help and strength from God and his supporters cleaned up one of the worse areas in district 2. 15th AVENUE which is now named after the man who help cleaned up, "Rev DR. Gilbert S. Smith Avenue", was one of the worse places to be in during the day and after dark. I myself have witness tragedy in broad day light. When people told Pastor Smith he should move, Pastor Smith refused because he saw that the people in that area needed that beacon of light in the darkest hour. Through an awesome street ministry and a wonderful out reach center, many of the less fortunate who didn't know where to go to get their next meal, those who didn't have access to a computer to claim their government benefits, and those who are just looking for spiritual guidance all have a place to go. If the Apostolic Revival Center was to have moved when the chance was given, I really would not want think about what 15th Ave would be like today. Then again, I can because just 3 blocks west of 15th Ave is 18th Ave which is nicknamed the "HOLE!" The "hole" runs also between 71st and 62nd street just like 15th Ave. Drugs, prostitution, killings, all over populates that area. Because of the many things that are going on in the hole, Pastor Smith felt lead by God to do their weekly street ministry there in the heart of 18th Ave. Not only do they bring the word of God, but they also feed the people there too!!
If I were you Mr. Monestime, I would show up at the next Sunday service to apologize because from my understanding, this is the 2nd time you stood up one of your most noble constituents in your district after you "PROMISED" to show! One thing I can say about Dorrin D. Rolle, every promise he made both in office and to Pastor Smith was always kept. I wish I can say the same about you. It is being said around your own district that, "You do not care about anybody but your own people of Hatian descent." If I was to gamble on the next election, at this point, I can honestly say that the odds will be against you, but, I am not an gambling man. Jean Monestime, a man who airs dirty laundry on his opponents but is one of the biggest hypocrite next to our Governor, Rick Scott. I hope when you get a chance to look in the mirror, you remember what it is that you suppose to be doing for all of your people and district 2.
