A new study posted by Pediatrics unveils many parents require their 4- to 8-year olds to ride in booster seats when it comes to riding in their own car, but when it comes to carpooling many kids are going without. According to the study, 30% of parents don’t require their children to use booster seats when they carpool, and 45% don’t make their children use one when driving other children who don’t have one. Carpooling is a necessity for many parents, but most don't have extra booster seats on hand to accommodate the additional travel guests!
