Budi was born in PADANG (West Sumatra), Indonesia and now lives in Jakarta. He was born into a family with both parents as teachers. Although they could not always understand his passion for music they are now very happy to see him succeeding as musician.

He performed live since the age of 14 years at many hotels, cafe's and night clubs. Throughout his career he always enjoyed to combine western music with more traditional influences of his own country, always looking for new ways to find a fusion of American and European music with his own culture. Budi wrote the music for many TV Soap Operas and many other media productions. Since it has been not very easy to find other artists in his country who understand his vision of combining ethnic, New Age, World, blues and pop music in one style, Budi has often been frustrated because of a lack of understanding of this very vision that makes him so special. Budi says:" I'd love to introduce my music all over the world and finally I found Wolf Entertainment which is great for my career, and I found many great artists here. I can't wait to work with them and to collaborate!
