The idea behind the whole Bull Moose Party( www.newbmp.com ) is a way of life or philosophy as much as anything else. We are convinced that the U.S. system of governing is not irreparably broken or gone too far to be redeemed. What we believe is that with a lot of time, dedication and hard work we can create a viable third party option based on the belief that corporate lobbying is one of the root causes of problems in our society and that a party based on the fundamental understanding that it cannot be swayed by money stands a better than fair chance at succeeding. We are not blind optimists we are realists and understand that money itself is not evil, money is an object which combined with power and the limelight of attention has corrupted the politicians of the United States. The whole foundation and organization of our party is built as an attempt to right some of these wrongs and to create a chain of communication between the most junior of our party members and the highest elected office we attain through monthly meetings held as a forum, open to all party members. Over the course of the next few days and weeks I will be ironing out the remaining organizational problems of this party which I hope will prove an asset to us in forming “a more perfect Union”.
