Burbank International Film Festival launches year three.

The Burbank International Film Festival has launched year number 3 and is rapidly emerging as a highly regarded and increasingly prestigious festival. Several of last years participants received substantial industry attention from major players such as Lions Gate Films and Netflix.

This year’s festival is scheduled to open on or about September 15th, 2011 and already the festival has received over 200 submissions from as far away as Australia and Eastern Europe. The Burbank International Film Festival encourages a very broad spectrum of film makers to submit their work for possible exhibition right in the true heart of America’s film industry, Burbank, California. In other Burbank International Film Festival news they are hosting the hilarious group, Legendary Bingo at Burbank’s hot new comedy club, Flappers on Monday, February 28th 2011. This is definitely not grandma’s Bingo. There will be sponsor giveaways, door prizes and yes, of course, Bingo. There will also be some serious celebrity action including an appearance by the lovely television and film star Jacqui Holland who recently guest starred on Desperate Housewives. Jacqui will actually call the numbers and otherwise light up the event with her wit, beauty and charm.
