Monte, who is a business and career coach, was not originally planning to become an author. Monte decided to write the book because “There’s just so much nonsense out there about how to get hired and get promoted, and people need the voice of experience to show them a process that will get results.” The book is targeted towards professionals seeking to make early to mid-career transitions and increase their income.

Catch Your Big Break will feature advice from industry leaders, success coaches, and human resource professionals. The book will offer guidance to professionals who are currently employed and looking for ways to get promoted into higher-paying positions. It will also offer proven strategies that unemployed workers can use to get hired.

Steve Monte Coaching was established in 2010 and is dedicated to helping people unleash their potential to succeed in business and in life. Steve received his Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University, where he focused on non-profit management and organizational leadership.
