Singer is known for making it big after experiencing significant success in the early stages of his career. He started with Sunshine Blues in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which was a small store that rapidly expanded to seven stores throughout the metropolitan area. It was at that point when Singer wanted to pursue a new idea, so he sold Sunshine Blues and opened his own clothing line “ with a catch.

œSelling my clothing stores was a difficult decision, but the idea to market my own clothing in the mall was a different challenge, Singer explained. œI wanted to sell my products in a unique manner without going through all the steps to get in the big department stores.

He established one of the first modern-day mall kiosks and pioneered the concept, making it spread throughout the world's malls and gallerias in a short amount of time. Singer carried his success to television as well, appearing on QVC and The Home Shopping Network where he has sold more than 50 million dollars worth of products.

His latest venture, HotGearDirect.com, launched this month, and the website offers a line of outdoor apparel and equipment. Singer will be on œMy Cool Inventions to discuss the 7-Way Fleece Hood and other upcoming products to be sold on the website.
