Buzz Fantasy Leagues Runs Make the Cut Challenge Again in 2012

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 2, 2011 -- BuzzFantasyLeagues.com today announced the return of their “Make the Cut” fantasy golf survivor challenge for the 2012 PGA Tour season. Buzz Fantasy Leagues created this contest in 2011 and had such positive feedback that they’ve decided to run the challenge again in 2012.

The “Make the Cut” fantasy golf survivor challenge allows fantasy fans to choose a golfer each week for the current PGA Tour tournament. If a participant’s selected golfer makes the cut that week, they continue on and get to make a new selection the following week. If a participant’s selection misses the cut, that participant is eliminated from the contest. Participants are only allowed to choose a golfer once throughout the duration of the contest. The last person to be eliminated is the winner and receives the grand prize.
The 2012 challenge will also be featuring some new functionality enhancements. One major change in 2012 will allow participants to choose a 1st alternate and a 2nd alternate for occasions when golfers withdraw before a tournament has started. Another addition includes a new page that shows all selected golfers for each week and each golfer’s selection percentage.

Golf fans can enter this fantasy golf survivor challenge by paying a $4.95 entry fee, or they can choose to complete a double entry for $7.95. Participants are allowed to enter as many times as they like. The winner of the 2011 challenge made 13 consecutive correct selections to walk away with the title and the $500 grand prize.
The “Make the Cut” challenge will become available for registration on December 1st, 2011. The contest will begin with the Northern Trust Open on February 16th, and will end with the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classicp on November 11th, or when only one participant remains.
