Byron Banks Releases "Passion Has A Price"

Byron Bank was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He was the only man in the household, so he needed to set his sight on becoming something special. He had great ambitions to make a name for himself. Right from the beginning he showed promise at talent shows and joining the high school band. Byron played the trumpet and later moved to drums but didn’t stop there. He soon went to keyboard giving Byron the building blocks in order to accomplish what he set out to do. Then came producing and rapping. Byron knew that music was his destiny. Finally, he had an opportunity to show his skills as a producer and rapper when a hip hop group called Uppa Dek released their debut album ‘Da Nosebleed Section’. He was one of the members of the group and saw his own reflection. This gave him the drive and hunger to work harder in order to reach his goal.

Byron Bank is proud to announce the release of his newest CD “Passion Has A Price” with single “Like A Star” leading the way. The premise of this song is about treating your special person just like a star where nothing else matters and the world revolves around them alone. It’s about being that special someone – you feel it – it’s all around you – you are a star. This song is an anthem for Byron Bank, depicting his technical skills, writing skills, that hip hop feel, that swagger that is so soulful, you can’t help yourself but to take it personal. It is one of many common threads that run through his songs in this great CD. Another unique aspect of Byron’s music is the way he expresses himself with metaphors, specific patterns and the emotion that just come to life. “ ‘Passion Has A Price’ is a very personal album. It’s my life in different areas as I grow and live life and it will reflect throughout my musical career”, states Byron. Byron Jones is giving us his life in song.
Prior to this newest release Byron Bank released “An End of the Beginning” CD along with a multitude of mixtapes.

Byron Bank will open for Chris Brown at the Scream Tour in the Woodlands, Miami Car Show for the Super Bowl XLIV, Alternative Scream TV Performance. He also opened for the Devin the Dude and the Coughee Bros., Juneteeth Festival Performance in LaMarque, Texas and Missouri City, Texas. He has also worked with community based organizations such as the March of Dimes for the March of Babies, Houston’s YMCA for Healthy Kid’s Day and Good Cause 4 Good People (GC4GP) fundraising event in Austin for Austin Children’s Shelter & Safe Place. He is a great artist a great guy all around.
