Byron Cage and Makeda Tene' Chosen as Guest Artists for the Festival of Life in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, California, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) September 16, 2010 -- On September 3, 2010 , the Los Angeles Convention Center hosted the West Coast Festival of Life, sponsored by the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Originally formed in West Africa in 1952, the list of parishes has grown by leaps and bounds, and has spread to countries throughout Europe and North America. Guest Pastor for this event was none other than Bishop Ayo Oritsajefor, founder of the World of Life Bible Church in Nigeria. Everyone present was spiritually fed and energized by the eloquent and charismatic pastor who is completely "on fire for Jesus".

Byron Cage and Makeda Tene' Chosen as Guest Artists for the Festival of Life in Los Angeles

Guest Artists for the event were 4 time Stellar Award winner Byron Cage, known as the "Prince of Praise", and rising Soprano vocal star ,Makeda Tene'. Both of these American artists raised the roof as they ushered in a refreshing anointing of praise, worship, and an overall 'Hallelujah Good Time". After her first song, Makeda Tene' eloquently journeyed to the piano and performed a moving and impressive version of Lara George's signature song, "Ijoba Orun". Audience members worshipped and fell to their knees as Ms. Tene' rendered (in Yoruba) one of the most inspiring West African inspirational tunes to date. Byron Cage also wowed the crowd by performing his award winning set, including the hand clapping- foot stomping, "Shabach!"
