C&S Electric Ltd acquires 100% equity of Netherlands based Etacom ISD BV, a company valued at 20 million Euros.

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 15, 2011 -- Etacom ISD BV is the Dutch holding company for Etacom Group which is the international leader for specialized cast resin insulated busbars.
The acquisition is a strategic move for C&S Electric’s Power Busbar business to extend its domestic leadership position in India to a global scale.
With this acquisition C&S Electric offers the widest range of Power Busbars amongst any manufacturer in the world – including iso phase busbars ,seg phase busbars , sandwich busbars , compact busbars , lighting busbars and now cast resin busbars.

This will be C&S Electric's second overseas venture having recently started a green field company in China 18 months ago.
C&S electric manufactures products used in Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Final Consumption. The company is engaged in the businesses of Low and Medium Voltage Switchgear, Power Busbars, Lighting Solutions, Turnkey Electrical Contracts and Diesel Generating Sets.
C&S Electric is estimated to have revenues in excess of INR 825 crores for FY 2011-12 and Etacom is expected to have FY 2011-12 revenues of approximately INR 125crores.
