The Audi is up against German Car manufacturing giants BMW and their supermini the well-known Mini car, who currently gets as low as 105g/km emissions on the 1.6 Diesel engine. Audi hope to go even further and produce an engine that will get below 100g/km C02 emissions. There are a number of ‘E’ models available on the market at the moment, including the Audi A4 2.0 TDIe that has especially lowered emissions of 121g/km, but the A1 will be particularly efficient without the ‘E’ tag.

Audi, always at the forefront of cutting edge technology, have also now announced their ideas for a mis-fuelling prevention design available on the Audi A4, A5 and Q5, ensuring that you always fill up correctly, with petrol nozzles no longer fitting in the hole. Audi are hoping for its introduction in early 2011 on the three Audi models, with a hope to roll out further onto all 2011 Audi models.
