Marietta, Ohio attorney Mr. Ethan Vessels has scheduled a free public meetings throughout Southeast Ohio to discuss the legal rights of people who have been victimized by C8 water contamination.
Attorney Ethan Vessels is a native of Ohio. After graduating from West Point, serving as an officer in the United States Army and graduating from the Ohio State University School of Law, he settled in Marietta, Ohio and has lived in that southeast Ohio community with his family for over 10 years.
The story of C8 contaminating the drinking water supplies of certain Ohio and West Virginia water districts is not something he read about in a national newspaper from a law office in an ivory tower hundreds of miles away. Ethan Vessels lives and works amongst the people who have been diagnosed with health conditions linked to C8. It's a topic he takes very seriously and feels a sense of duty to inform people located on both sides of the Ohio River from Marietta to Pomeroy.
With the assistance of Akron, Ohio attorneys, Mr. Vessels and his team have mailed informational flyers to over 30,000 households explaining C8, the health conditions linked to the chemical and the legal rights of victims exposed to this dangerous chemical. He has met with local families who have endured the deaths of loved ones from kidney cancer and testicular cancer. He has assisted members of his community battling thyroid disease and high cholesterol. C8 is a topic he hears about weekly from family, friends and neighbors concerned about what they were exposed to in the past and the safety of the region's future. He has vowed to do more.
Next week, Mr. Vessels has scheduled a series of free public meetings throughout southeast Ohio to provide residents of the water districts impacted by C8 with the opportunity to ask him questions directly and get the answers they want and need.
