Caledonian appoints new Director of Trusts and Director Services

(Free-Press-Release.com) June 6, 2011 -- Leading global financial services company, The Caledonian Group, announced today the appointment of Conor Jennings to the position of Director in Caledonian Trust Cayman Limited and Caledonian Director Services Limited. Mr. Jennings, also the Managing Director of Caledonian Insurance Services, joins directors, David Walker and Bernard McGrath in leading the Cayman office Fiduciary Services team.

In his new role and with the help of his colleagues, Conor will take on the responsibility of guiding the continued growth of Caledonian’s Fiduciary Services division, developing existing relationships and exploring opportunities in international markets, especially Asia where he lived for over fifteen years. His appointment will deliver solid, sustainable growth for the business combined with a diversified and innovative service.

Mr. Jennings has over 20 years experience and has been based in the Cayman Islands for the past six Years. Before specialising in captive insurance he was an insurance underwriter and claims manager with a large, British owned, multi-national insurance company. He has also lived and worked in the Ireland, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Singapore, Guernsey and the British Virgin Islands.

Announcing the appointment, Managing Director Bernard McGrath said "Conor is an extremely skilled professional and with his extensive knowledge and experience we are pleased to welcome him to the Directorship. We are confident that Conor will lead us into our new target markets.”

Conor is a Fellow of both the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Institute of Risk Management. He has lectured on insurance and risk management all around the world from Beijing to Miami to Jakarta, and has written numerous articles on the subjects, specialising in captive insurance.
