"The Shark City National Martial Arts Championships" and "Tiger Claw KungFuMagazine.com Chinese Martial Arts Championships" were held at the San Jose Convention Center.
The event featured more than 350+ kata, sparring, weapon, and self defense divisions, And over 180+ Traditional Kung Fu and Contemporary Wushu Divisions, There were 24 Separate Chinese Martial Arts Grand Champion Divisions for Traditional Kung Fu only Grands and Wushu Contempoary Grands.
Our own "California Martial arts Institute" team competed and brought home many awards and smiles...
In Attendance of this competition were many Masters,Grandmasters,Shaolin Monks ,as well as -Vice President ,Beijing Wushu Association, President,Baji Quan Reasearch Association Presidet Wang Shiquan and Jet Li's Coach,Wu Bin.

CMAI's USA team is coached by Sifu Tim McFarland (Head Coach), Sifu Aaron Beatty, Sensei Tony Johnson, Sensei Josh Goessling, and Sensei Lilly Freeland.
The specific purpose of the U.S.A. Team is to foster and perpetuate international feelings of good will and respect, while increasing foreign and domestic awareness of cross cultural companionship and understanding through rigorous training, friendly competition, and martial excellence.
