FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
San Juan Capistrano, California, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) July 12, 2011 -- San Juan Capistrano, CA - July 13, 2011 — IP Access International (IPA), a global commercial satellite service provider of voice, video and data connectivity solutions, today announced that they recently provided satellite communications for Patriot Hook large‐scale field exercises with the California National Guard (CNG). Patriot Hook was an emergency rapid deployment of the Guard’s communications capabilities in support to Air Force Reserve Command Disaster Deployment exercise.

Emergency Response doctrine recognizes that rescue forces are most effective when operating from locations that are nearest the incident or objective area which are generally not supported by main base support resources. In these situations, critical tactical communications and Internet connectivity must be able to rapidly deploy by air USAF standards with the lead task force in order to assure sustained operations and maximum situational awareness and connectivity. With satellite communications from IPA, the California National Guard’s IC4U Emergency Communications teams carry rapidly deployable communications capabilities provide a more effective and robust Defense Support of Civil Authority (DSCA) response.

“IP Access International’s satellite network provides coverage that exceeds our requirements with quick broadband IP network capability, including any voice, video or data application necessary to respond to emergency situations,” said California National Guard. “During the Patriot Hook exercise the satellite link performance was flawless. We were able to light up the Air Force Reserve’s air operations TOC which allowed them to process the files and documents far faster than they are able to off of the BGAN.”

With a motto of, “Always Ready, Always There,” the California National Guard is the state’s professional military force serving the state and the nation with crisis management in the event of an emergency. The CNG’s mission critical response systems needs an emergency communications solution that is available anywhere, anytime providing Voice over IP (VoIP), video, high-speed data communications and secure link encryption. The California National Guard selected IPA’s satellite network based on its high bandwidth capabilities, reliability, security and ease of deployment.

“Anywhere, anytime emergency satellite Internet connections depend on reliability and adaptability to be successful. Unique to IPA, dedicated / on-demand bandwidth is a flexible model for availability, pricing and billing that allows customers to use and pay for what they need, when they need it,” said Bryan Hill, IPA President & CEO. "This flexibility is important to the California National Guard enabling us to deliver a communications solution that enhances the safety and responsiveness they can provide.”
