With the national public education high school drop-out rate near 50%, the current model of education is in dire need of reform. ScholarsMakeDollars is on the frontline of a MAJOR resurgence of cutting-edge, urban savvy and effective strategies to reach today’s youth. Started by veteran educator, author and contemporary philosopher, Hotep, ScholarsMakeDollars bridges the gap over the troubled waters of today’s educational landscape by utilizing a revolutionary approach to leadership, use of technology, literacy, economics and entrepreneurship.

A veteran public school teacher, author and Morehouse College graduate, Hotep is widely known for his unique approach to teaching leadership, entrepreneurship and social/ financial ethics by inspiring a love for learning and motivating youth to think critically and act responsibly. The ScholarsMakeDollars Urban Youth Initiative Event Series will travel to support non-profit organizations all over the U.S and stop in cities such as New York City, Chicago, DC, and Atlanta to name a few between May and September. Tickets sales for each event will be donated to a non-profit organization dedicated to working with our nation’s youth. Businesses are encouraged to sponsors events that will be held at various venues such as cafes, art galleries, and restaurants across the United States.
